More user friendly than Wickes or B&Q, though Wickes is less expensive and B&Q seems to have more stuff for bigger jobs. Out of those three, Homebase is certainly the best for layout and customer service and has similar prices to B&Q. One tip though. They stock Johnstones paint. It’s cheaper than their own brand for a reason. It’s like watered down Tippex! Took 3 coats just to lighten the colour of the wall. It was like looking at the wall through a mild fog.
